Four persons including two middle-aged women slumped in a stampede as hoodlums on Monday invaded a warehouse to cart away palliatives in Gwagwalada area council.
Reporters At Large gathered that the hoodlums including elderly, middle-aged men and women as well as ladies climbed through the fence of the warehouse to pick the palliatives.
Daily Trust reports that four people slumped during the rush into the warehouse, even though the victims whose names could not be ascertained were later revived after water was poured on them.
The palliatives, which comprised of spaghetti, noodles, sugar, salt, bags of rice and other items our reporter learnt belongs to the FCT administration.
It was observed that some security agents, such as immigration officers, customs, civil defence corps and uniform policemen also joined in the looting spree.
Reporters At Large had earlier reported that some soldiers later arrived the scene to disperse the hoodlums but the hoodlums resisted.
However, Reporters At Large had also reported that suspected hoodlums have resumed the looting of warehouses where COVID-19 palliatives were believed to have been kept.
Reporters At Large gathered that the youths are presently looting some warehouses in Gwagwalada, a satellite town in the Federal Capital Territory.
