On March 9, 2012, Chrisolam Communications Nigeria was registered under the Companies Act of 1968 to engage in publishing, other periodicals, and media relations to inform, educate, and entertain Nigerians and others worldwide.
The company focused on printing and publishing periodicals and media relations until 2016 when it started its online news publication, REPORTERS AT LARGE. The first editor was Akintunde Olabode. The online news platform was designed “to give global news readers a unique news platform that combines the best in serious and popular journalism” with refreshing information and entertainment.
We are unbiased and independent, and every day we create unique, world-class content that informs, educates, and entertains millions of people in Nigeria, Africa, and worldwide.
We will publish in all mediums, starting with this internet platform, where we expect to appeal to the majority of our young and middle-class elites who have a vision for the future and believe in social change.
The company has a board of directors as its highest policy-making organ. The current chairman of the board is Prince Laolu Olabode. The first chairman was Rev’d Folu Chris Mimiola, an accomplished statistician who died in 2021. The company’s policies and directives are implemented by a management team led by the managing director and Editor-in-Chief. The current Managing Director is Mr. Akintunde Olanrewaju. Though a corporate business entity exists to make a profit, it promotes and defends the values of democracy while contributing to Nigerian and global economic development.
The company runs its business from 14, Fathers Love Avenue, Magboro, Ogun State, Nigeria.
