President Muhammadu Buhari has reassigned a former commissioner for health in Ekiti state, Dr Mojisola Yahaya-Kolade as a full-time Commissioner in a federal commission.
This was contained in a statement by the Senior Special Assistant to President Buhari on national assembly (Senate), Babajide Omoworare and made available to the press on Wednesday 16th of February, 2022.
The statement urged the Senate chamber to screen another Ekiti man, Rtd AIG Olugbenga Adeyanju as a member of the ICPC.
Dr Yaya-Kolade, an accomplished nurse, pharmacist and physician has not been dropped but re-assigned, the statement affirmed.
“She had earlier been successfully screened by the Senate Committee on Anti-Corruption and Financial Crimes but in view of the substitution, she has now been appointed by the President as a full-time Commissioner (compensation) in the National Salaries Income and Wages Commission in accordance with the provisions of Section 2 of the Act establishing the said Commission .”
While congratulating the appointees, the statement urged them to continue to contribute their quotas to the development of Nigeria and humanity as a whole.
