The political parties in Nigeria have concluded their respective presidential primary election for the 2023 Presidential election.
REPORTERS AT LARGE had earlier reported that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has given political parties till June 3 to conclude their primaries for the emergence of candidates for various elective positions.
The electoral body revealed this in a release issued on Thursday, March 5, 2022, titled “ADHERENCE TO TIMELINES FOR THE CONDUCT OF PRIMARIES BY POLITICAL PARTIES”, reminding political parties that its earlier scheduled timetable for activities of the 2023 general election had not changed.
After so much intrigue and controversy, different winners emerged. They will fly their party’s flag in the 2023 presidential election.
Here is a list of those who will fly presidential tickets in 2023:
1. African Action Congress (AAC) – Omoleye Sowore
2. African Democratic Congress (ADC) – Dumebi Kachikwu
3. Action Democratic Party (ADP) – Yabaji Sani
4. Action Peoples Party (APP) – Christopher Imumolen
5. All Progressives Congress (APC) – Bola Tinubu
6. All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) – Peter Umeadi
7. Boot Party (BP) – Sunday Adenuga
8. Labour Party (LP) – Peter Obi
9. New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) – Rabiu Kwankwaso
10. National Rescue Movement (NRM) – Okwudili Nwa-Anyajike
11. Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) – Atiku Abubakar
12. Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) – Kola Abiola
13. Social Democratic Party (SDP) – Adewole Adebayo
14. Young Progressive Party (YPP) – Malik Addo-Ibrahim
15. Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) – Dan Nwanyawu
