A US-based Nigerian photojournalist, Chaplain (Dr) Kingsley Oluwatuyimise Bassey recently buried their mother-in-law in style. He paid his last respect online with his wife, Princess Victoria Aderemi, the last born of the late double-Queen who slept in the Lord on Sunday, July 10, 2022, at the age of 105 with church service at St. Stephen’s Anglican Church Iloro Street, Igbara-Odo axis of Ekiti State on the 15th and 16th of October 2022.
Guests were received, and ‘item seven’ also followed immediately at St. Raphaels Primary school playing ground.
Mrs Janet Ogunmola, 1st Fruit of the late Mrs Akodupeloro Mebinuola Oyedele Ojo, with other members of the late Queen, dignitaries, guests, families, and friends expressed gestures towards a fulfilled life, leaving behind good legacies.
Men of God who honoured the invite described the Queen as a virtuous woman who impacted lives even in old age while she was alive, during the wake keep at her residence.
The Anglican parish priest hereby admonished everyone present at the church service to live as if, one will not wake to see another day, “influence positively, impact life’s with your widow’s mite, and note that all believers corpse will be honoured this way! She had an impact in the church, more reason the church held a service for her today.”
